Blussh. Studio owner and founder, Jess Schmidt has been a professional makeup artist for over 9 years, previously working for Napoleon Perdis from 2015 to managing MAC Cosmetics Carindale.
Across her years of experience in the cosmetics industry, Jess has established a loyal client base who love her personalised service, attention to detail and warm and kind nature. In 2021, Jess expanded her service offerings and now also specialises in volume lash extensions in addition to makeup artistry for special occasions, formals and bridal.

Jessica Ritchie started her makeup career with a Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services. Despite an initial focus of special effects makeup in film, Jess fell in love with beauty makeup by seeing the confidence her clients found through her artistry.
This began an 8 year professional career in the makeup and beauty industry both freelancing and in-store, starting at Napoleon Perdis and then MAC Cosmetics where she worked up to management roles. With her personable nature, passion for customer service and years of experience in the makeup industry, she is an expert in her field and has built a successful career in an industry she adores.
